Hämeen Härkätie is the furthest northeast of the roads leading to Santiago de Compostela. The way of Jacob runs through Hämeen Härkätie from Rengo to Turku. From Turku it continues via Rymättylä towards Santiago. The total distance from Rengo to Rymättyla is 242.4 km. Friends of The way of Jacob -organization takes care of the way of Jacob in Finland and also organizes pilgrimages with local organizations. In addition, it writes pilgrimage passports for pilgrims going to Santiago and organizes blessing of the pilgrims’ journey for all pilgrims in the spring.
